In open ground, felling a tree is straightforward. Next to your house, garage, well house, septic field, or power drop, it isn't, which is why most of our removals are done in pieces. We climb or work the tree from the top down, rigging limbs and trunk sections on ropes and lowering them under control. On the steep lots common across Asheville and the surrounding mountains, that control is the whole job.
Every removal is priced by size, condition, and access. A 30-foot dogwood in an open yard and an 80-foot dead red oak over the roof are entirely different jobs.
